In the last few months, life as we know it across the world has changed because of the Coronavirus pandemic. For people with serious health conditions such as breast cancer, the uncertainty of the situation, and possible delays in cancer screening and treatment can be especially distressing. This is why we must go on, and this is why we need your support more than ever.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In recognition of the challenges the world faces, we are replacing our signature sponsored "Walk for Life" which usually hosts approximately 1,000 walkers, runners and cyclists, with a range of safe mini indoor and outdoor activities. Titled The Well Woman Clinic’s BRECAM 2020 ‘15’ Challenge, with social media hashtags #WWCBRECAMChallenge15 and #BRECAM2020, we encourage participants to join us commence our 15th year celebration and join the challenge by organising their own mini activities or participating in organised small group activities and donating to the clinic via www.gofundme.com/f/wwcsl, and raising funds on our behalf.
See attached flyer for further details and watch out for organised mini safe indoor/outdoor activities such as Walking, Running, Cycling, Special Workouts and Spinning "for life" led by fitness gurus. Don’t forget to post your activity/participation to facebook and instagram and tag @mepswellwomanclinic using the hashtags above.
